FrostStar waited in her den for WinterPelt to show up. She had a piece a fresh-kill for both of them.

Winterpelt had been delighted that she'd have a chance to speak with her leader. She looked up to Froststar and would do anything for her. She got up and stretched, her claws slid out of her paws and dug into the dirt. She then dashed out of the Warrior's Den and towards her leader's. She had to stop her travel when two kits and a wolf pup tumbled in her path. She gave them a kind smile and nuzzled a black kit. She then leapt over the young ones and traveled to Froststar's den. She finally immerged and padded towards her leader. "Good evening Froststar. What is it you wished to see me about?"

"You looked depressed earlier. Tell me what was bothering you. And please, eat something." FrostSatr nudged the piece of fresh-kill towards WinterPelt.
"You can lay down anywhere. I just cleaned it out." FrostStar got up and shook, then laid down again in her bedding of moss.

Winterpelt did as she was told. She took the piece of fresh kill in her mouth and carried it to a soft spot next to Froststar's bed. She was a little embarrassed that her leader had caught her in such a mood but tried hard not to show it, after all she was a warrior. "Please do not be angered at me for not reporting this earlier, Froststar. I needed to be absolutely certain of the situation. You see I was prowling the borders of our clan earlier and I caught traces of Rouges upon our territory. There were two of them i think. One smelled of a sickly female cat and the other was either a wolf or a fox, the scents were old and i could not detect all the detail within them. It may be just a slight alarm or my own paranoid ways but I'm edgy about this and I was so confused of what to do. That is why I was so down earlier, lost in thought I suppose." Winterpelt's eyes were beginning to show her discomfort. She wondered if Froststar would be angered at her for not reporting such a thing earlier. She fidgetted her paws as she awaited her leader's response.

ooc: sorry i didn't reply earlier. been kinda scatter-brained lately. 
ic: FrostStar Thought for a moment and then quietly barked, "It's okay. I'm not angry. I'll let the Clan know that you scented the rouges and send out more patrols. Next time, when something is bothering you, let me know. Okay?" FrostStar looked at WinterPelt.

OOC: It's alright, i understand. By the way, I'm on the 3rd book of Warriors ^^ I just cant put it down!!!
IC: Winterpelt nodded respectfully to her leader. "Yes Froststar." Her mind was traveling away from the den. She was thinking about the great excitement of new-leaf as it dawned upon the clan. Bare-leaf was always horrible and depressing for her. She hated the icy feeling of the snow and having to bound like a lame rabbit through it. She licked the chest hairs on her ivory pelt. Soon she would be quite easy for the mice and other prey to see when she hunted them but perhaps the snow had not completely melted. Maybe she could blend in after all.
Winterpelt curled her tail neatly over her paws and smiled warmly at her leader, her purring almost thundering in her throat. "Would you care to go hunting with me Froststar? I spotted a large amount of rabbits by the old badger den. They must've burrowed there for bare-leaf and they're coming out now." Winterpelt's tail swished gently and her paws trembled in great excitement. She hoped her leader would agree. She admired her hunting skills and wanted to stock up the fresh-kill pile before one of the queens kitted. That way there was still plenty to eat, even with the young mouths that would require the meat and nourishment of the fresh-kill.

IC: Winterpelt's tail twitched in excitement. She stood up and smiled, her tail lashing in happiness and purrs errupting from her throat. "Let's have a contest. whoever catches the most prey wins. Sound fun?" Winterpelt's paws were twitching. Froststar was actually going to hunt with her!
